| UC Humanities Centers HASTAC SDSC |
SDSCUCHRI partners with UC San Diego's San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC) to pursue new developments in the use of supercomputing applications for HASS (Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences) disciplines. Examples include collaborations on an IMLS-funded project on the redlining of California cities, and HASS cyberinfrastructure training and development. SDSC is an enormously robust information technology resource. Focusing on data-oriented and computational science and engineering applications, SDSC serves as an international resource for data cyberinfrastructure through the provision of software, hardware and human resources. SDSC serves as a leadership national cyberinfrastructure Center to the National Science Foundation (NSF) and to the broader community, and welcomes conversation and collaboration with disciplines outside the traditional computing sciences.
