UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA - UTRECHT UNIVERSITYThis program is suspended for academic year 2009-10 due to University of California budget constraints. The following details about the UC-UU Program are for information purposes only. The University of California-University of Utrecht Program to Promote Collaborative Research seeks to prompt vigorous collaborative research partnerships across the humanities and social sciences (including linguistics). The Program will build on and extend already existing working relationships between UC faculty from a variety of the UC campuses and UU faculty, drawing on the strengths of each institutional site. Each partnership will pair at least one faculty member from UC and UU respectively. The purpose of the grants is to enable research collaborations between the two institutions to flourish, and will largely cover travel and accommodation costs for face-to-face research to be conducted (see application's budget sections regarding allowed expenses).
