Funding Opportunities
- How do I apply for a grant?
- The first step is to identify where your project fits within the programs of UCHRI, the UC Humanities Network, and the UC California Studies Consortium. All programs are administered by UCHRI.
- How should I submit my application?
- Must I apply through FastApps?
- Yes. All applications to this program must be submitted via FastApps only.
- How do I log in?
- Be sure to register first. Once you have created your password, you will be able to sign in.
- What is in an application?
- Each program has instructions on preparing your application.
- When should I apply?
- Each program has its own deadline. See the funding overview for estimated annual deadlines.
- Do I need to acknowledge UCHRI?
- Yes, acknowledgement is required in all UCHRI funded materials, products, and event publiciity.
- I received a grant and completed my project. What's next?
- Submit your report to Suedine Nakano, Program Administrator, at snakano@hri.uci.edu. Refer to your award letter for deadlines and requirements.

- No; All UCHRI events are free and open to the public.

- Can I reserve a seat?
- We only reserve seats for individuals with disabilities that require a specific accommodation. Other reserved seats are for OHC staff and supporters who have worked on coordinating the event.

- How do I get to campus?
- UCHRI is located in Humanities Gateway (#611 on the campus map). Most of our events take place in the Humanities Instructional Building (#610). Permit dispensers are available at most campus parking structures. The Mesa Parking Structure and Student Center Parking Structure are nearest to the Humanities buildings.

- I won't be able to attend an event. Will it be recorded?
- We record almost all of our lectures and conferences (with the speakers' permission). Lectures are uploaded to Vimeo, which is searchable by keyword. You can also find videos and past event archives on our video page.
